Na eerdere succesvolle seizoenen zendt SBS 6 een nieuwe reeks afleveringen uit van Drukte in de Dierentuin. De camera volgt het leven van de dieren en de werkzaamheden van de verzorgers in de Nederlandse dierentuinen Apenheul, GaiaZOO, Diergaarde Blijdorp, DierenPark Amersfoort en Burgers’ Zoo. Door de samenwerking met deze vijf grote parken is er veel interessant materiaal dat het programma in tegenstelling tot vorig jaar nu elke werkdag uitgezonden wordt. Drukte in de Dierentuin is vanaf maandag 19 maart elke werkdag om 20.00 uur te zien bij SBS 6.

Apenheul zal vanaf 9 april te zien zijn in Drukte in de Dierentuin en komt dan met een nieuw concept. Dit keer zijn het de dieren die op de voet worden gevolgd. Deze speciale ‘apensoap’ gaat over het leven van de grootste groep doodshoofdaapjes ter wereld in een dierentuin. Nauwlettend volgt de camera de spannende avonturen die de aapjes beleven. Wie wordt de nieuwe leidster van de groep? Hoe vergaat het de nieuwe fokmannen Bink en Toby? En gedraagt het nieuwsgierige aapje Tjonge zich dit jaar een beetje?
